This week we started brainstorming about how to incorporate a new curriculum to CCHS. The curriculum will address our mission to educate students on the skills that they will need after college such as basic cooking skills, financial literacy, and how to react in emergency situations. We also read the critiques of our website and assigned tasks to keep improving it. Along with that, the team will continue to organize and finalize the upcoming workshops in order to be able to offer the most useful learning experiences to our fellow students. In order to make an impact we need to start by changing the little things in life, and I believe that what we do at Culver City High School will truly be able to make a difference. Even if it’s just by making people more confident about leaving their comfortable home and interacting in the adult atmosphere, that’s enough to encourage people to adapt to continue learning in order to lead a successful life.
