Team A.I.T hosts workshops that focus on the transition to adulthood. These workshops help students develop skills that they will take with them after they graduate. After graduation, many students struggle with filling out forms, filing taxes, getting a license, and cooking. When students face these situations, they are sometimes ashamed to ask for help and find themselves trapped. In addition, many young adults also find it arduous to get involved. When applying for a job, many of them don’t have a well-written resume which makes it difficult to get the job. By having students attend our workshops, they will learn to be more independent and responsible. They will learn how to construct a well-written resume, gain interview skills, and learn self-defense. Students will be more engaged with the community and be more confident when communicating with others.
